She has taught sculpting to adults and children in her studio as well as museums and galleries throughout the United States.
Anne is giving foster children and teens living at Boys Town an opportunity to learn the art of sculpting. Many of these youth have suffered severe emotional and physical abuse and neglect. Anne is also teaching sculpting to visually impaired adults at the Muckenthaler Cultural Center. The Eye Care Center at Southern California College of Optometry is referring participants for this unique opportunity to explore sculpting. After participants learn the basics, they will design and sculpt a variety of pieces depending on their interests and skill levels. Anne plans to create opportunities for participants to display their artwork in Orange County community centers and libraries. She is also looking for opportunities for her participants to give back to the community by donating works for charity. Anne hopes participants will bring out their hidden talents, develop new perceptions of their worlds, gain a sense of empowerment and feel proud of their achievements as beginning artists.
