2008 St. Margaret’s Tartan Scholar

Rafael Enriquez – California State University Chico
Rafael had many personal responsibilities at home in addition to the academic demands at St. Margaret’s.  He is the oldest of four children and works 20 to 30 hours a week at Target to help support his personal needs and those of his family.  This year was particularly challenging because his parents’ immigration status came under review.  Despite this, Rafael earned honor roll recognition every semester at St. Margaret’s.  He completed his Independent Senior Project as an intern at a computer marketing company.  Rafael was admitted to California State University San Marcos, California State University Chico, Notre Dame de Namur University and University of Arizona.
