KAPF Honored by the State of California
The California State Senate has approved a resolution honoring the Foundation. The Resolution states: “For its distinguished record of public service and immeasurable contribution to the community and State, the Picerne Family Foundation is deserving of special public recognition and the highest commendations.” The resolution was sponsored by the office of State Senator Mark Wyland of the 38th District, which includes the Foundation’s headquarters in San Juan Capistrano.
“The Picerne Family Foundation has made considerable contributions to the local community by investing hundreds of thousands of dollars in education, art, science and environmental programs that enrich the lives of youth and seniors,” stated the resolution.
Further, “The contributions the Picerne Family Foundation has made to the local area are invaluable and reflect an organization devoted to the highest ideals of community service.
We are extremely honored to receive this resolution from the State of California.
